State-of-the-Art Technology

  • 360° Roof-Mounted Thermal Cameras: We use top-mounted thermal cameras to scan entire properties quickly and accurately, ensuring herd counts are precise and non-intrusive.

  • Handheld Thermal Monoculars & Cellular Trail Cams: These tools let us identify individual deer, monitor movement, and verify targets—day or night—without disturbing residents.

  • Custom Refrigerated Trailer: Every deer harvested is immediately cooled in our purpose-built trailer, guaranteeing the meat remains food-safe and ready for donation to local families.

  • Group Text Dispatch System: Our team uses secure group messaging to track every action and update herd quotas in real time, keeping everyone accountable and operations efficient.

Expert Training
Every Bergs sharpshooter completes a rigorous 8-hour annual training program covering:

  • Deer anatomy and behavior

  • Range safety and live-fire qualification

  • Communications and ethical shot placement

This commitment to training, technology, and ethics means safer operations, more reliable results, and total peace of mind for the communities we serve.

How Our Process Works

1. Site Assessment
We begin with a drive-by using 360° roof-mounted thermal cameras to count the deer herd—quickly and without disturbing residents.

2. Paperwork & Permits
Our team will assist acquiring all the required city, township, and DNR permit applications, meetings, and paperwork so you don’t have to.

3. Humane Culling
At scheduled times, our certified sharpshooters use suppressed rifles and thermal optics to humanely and discreetly remove only the necessary deer.

4. Refrigerated Recovery & Donation
Every deer is immediately cooled in our custom refrigerated trailer to ensure food safety, and 100% of the meat is donated to local families in need.

5. Reporting & Follow-up
After each project, we provide detailed reports on herd numbers, actions taken, and all DNR compliance—so you have a full record for your community or agency.
